We are spending the next few weeks investigating African American Life and Culture during the Reconstruction and Jim Crow Era. I posed some questions that I would like you to consider over the next week and a half. We will discuss these answers in class on 10/28. Begin your analysis of the forthcoming information by questioning, "What are the connections between political parties (Republicans and the Democrats), farmer
resentment, the industrial revolution, the Civil War and Reconstruction?" Think in terms of parallel developments
and charts relating to cause and effect.
I am going to also take a minute to post some of videos associated with the various topics we will be covering over the next few weeks.
